About the Company :
Incorporated in April 2004, Rukmani Power & Steel Private Limited (RPSL), was promoted by the Agrawal family based out of Chhattisgarh. The company has commenced its commercial operation from December, 2006. RPSL is engaged in generation of bio-mass based power by using rice husk and coal as fuel through its plant located at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. In April, 2006,
RPSL entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. (CSPDCL) for a tenure of 20 years from the date of its commercial operation. The company is currently operating with an installed capacity of 10 MW.
The company has set up a manufacturing unit for mild steel ingots with an installed capacity of 21, 600 tons per annum and it has commenced its commercial operations of induction division from February 2019. However, the company has discontinued the operation of the induction division from FY21 due to covid 19.
