About the Company :
Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency, has been established in 2001 under the Department of Energy, Government of Chhattisgarh. It does liaison and promotion work for implementation of various schemes pertaining to Renewable Energy sources and Energy Conservation activities. Some of projects undertaken are bio-gas development, solar thermal, solar photo voltaic, remote village electrification and biomass gasifier projects etc.,
In May 2018, the agency has plans to set up 600 MW of grid connected solar power projects. As of date, it has only 130 MW of solar power projects. It has come out with solar power policy for garnering investments
