Karnataka Power Corp is planning to set up a 5 MW waste to energy power project in Bidadi in Ramanagara near Bangalore in Karnataka. The company has invited bids in January 2019 to develop the project on DBOT basis. The selected developer will design, build, own and operated the plant for a period of 10 years. The project can be scaled to 15 MW in future.
