Melker TTI Biofuels is setting up a grain-based ethanol plant at Navelim village in Bicholim taluka of North Goa. The project involves setting up of a 500 klpd distillery and a 15 MW co-generation power plant. It will install a multi-fuel boiler (coal/biomass) with a capacity of 150 TPH. Land required for the project is around 39 acres. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 6100 million.
