Mysore City Corporation (MCC) is planning to set up a waste-to-power plant in Mysore. The municipal body also plans to set up a gobar gas unit, as a part of the project. It will source sewage from Vidranyapuram Sewage Farm. The project will be developed on a public-private-partnership (PPP) model. The power plant will have a composting set up to provide organic fertilizers to the farmers.
